Two of the most important events in the Three-Day Eventing calendar take place in the first half of September and Olympic medallist Pippa Funnell, author of the Tilly’s Pony Tails series, will be competing at both.
The first is the Burghley Horse Trials which starts on the 2nd September and will see the top riders from around the world competing for the coveted first prize. At this year’s Burghley we shall be launching Pippa’s new Tilly’s Pony Tails Annual 2011 and her new novel Parkview Pickle. On Friday 3rd September at 12 noon, Pippa’s fans can find her in the Celebrity Talk area where she will be taking part in a talk with one of the BBC’s top sports presenters Clare Balding (the voice of Tilly on the audiobooks) and signing copies of all her books.
After Burghley, Pippa will be almost straight off to compete in the Blenheim Horse Trials which start on 9th September and where she will also be signing copies of her books on the trade stands.
