Algie returns to delight Pink Floyd fans!

Algie returns to delight Pink Floyd fans!

Algie the Pink Floyd Pig will be taking to the skies again on Monday, September 26 as part of EMI’s promotional campaign for the Pink Floyd remasters and collectors editions coming over the next six months. The stunt will recreate the cover of the 1977 album ‘Animals’ which shows the pig floating above Battersea Power Station in London.

Working with Battersea Power Station and inflatable specialists Air Artists, EMI has confirmed that Algie will float above the iconic building all day on Monday, giving Londoners plenty of opportunity to glimpse him. The pig will not be the original Algie, who is no longer deemed airworthy, but a brand new PVC replica made especially for the occasion.
